Making History in Record Time.

In an 11th hour buy-out of Honda’s F1 Racing Team, Ross Brawn
put together a team that would make history.

Time was of the essence. Greenspace was appointed to design a new brand. Ross Brawn himself was as our starting point. ‘Pure Racing’ emerged as a brand positioning that spoke of his passion and the integrity that is intrinsic to racing.

In record time, we created a new brand identity that reflected the breakneck speeds of racing. 
Our radically clean livery design echoed the purity of the brand, while also showcasing its dearth
of sponsorship.

As lead creative partner, we devised dozens of branded applications – from events and communication materials – to the branding of the pits, the drivers’ suits and even the pens used to sign autographs.

That year, the Brawn GP F1 Team won eight of the season’s 17 races. And by winning both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championship titles in its only year of competition, became the first to achieve a 100% championship success rate.
